Cheek Enhancement, more commonly known as ‘Cheek Fillers‘ is a non-surgical treatment designed to lift, define and contour the shape of the cheeks for a projected ‘cheek bone’ appearance using Dermal Filler injections.
Dermal Filler; a manmade gel-like substance that mimics the body’s natural hyaluronic acid, is injected directly into the muscle of the cheeks to give a more pronounced appearance. But, for some, we can correct minor deformities of the cheeks either sustained from birth or injuries. Dermal Fillers are used to improve the overall shape, profile, projection and symmetry of the cheeks and cheek bones; this technique can achieve significant improvement to the aesthetic appearance without any downtime.
Your Aesthetic Doctor will ensure that the treatment is as comfortable as possible by applying a Topical Anaesthetic prior to the procedure to numb the area and as all of our treatments, end results are thoroughly discussed within your initial consultation. Results are visible immediately although, mild bruising is expected, it will completely subside after 3-7 days.
